Branding that gives your company a face
Branding defines what makes your company different and turns it into a consistent brand identity – from strategy and tone of voice to logo, colours and brand guidelines. The result is a brand customers recognise and remember. Visual identity starts at €490, a complete brand identity with guidelines at €1,999.
What brand identity is
Brand identity is everything customers recognise you by: name, logo, colours, typography, photo style and the way you talk. The logo is just one part. More in our glossary: branding.
Brand strategy comes before the logo
The most common mistake is starting with the logo. Without strategy you get a nice picture that says nothing. We first define who the brand is for, why it's better than competitors and what it should make people feel. Among other frameworks we use Kapferer's brand identity prism, which looks at a brand from six angles: physique, personality, culture, relationship, reflection and self-image.
What brand guidelines include
- Logo, variants and clear space
- Incorrect logo usage
- Colour palette in CMYK, RGB and HEX
- Typography and heading hierarchy
- Graphic elements and icons
- Photo and illustration style
- Tone of voice with examples
- Print and social templates
When a rebrand pays off
A rebrand makes sense when you've changed focus, target new customers or your visuals are so dated they hold back sales. Often a logo refresh and consistent materials are enough – we always recommend the smallest change that meets the goal.
